If not, you may want to analyze the path you’re on. Most of us are told to go to school, get a job where we’ll work up the ladder. Times have changed and what was once thought as the ideal life plan, isn’t working anymore. Only problem is that most people aren’t aware of what they’ve signed up for.
It’s not your fault, we can’t change the past but we can certainly change the future. My objective is to find others who want to make a difference in the lives of others while striving for freedom. People who are open-minded and are willing to put in the time and effort to build something that will allow you to live the life you deserve and desire.
The Power of Leverage
One of the most crucial parts of financial education (which is not taught well in our schools), is well illustrated in Robert Kiosaki’s Cash Flow quadrants. If you want to be wealthy, the best strategy is business ownership and investing.
By looking at this diagram, we can see that the wealthy use the power of leverage to generate wealth. If you’re self-employed or an employee, you are trading your time for money. Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with being an employee or self-employed and loving what you do. But I believe that it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to have a freedom lifestyle without having a “side hustle” or a business venture that will allow you more freedom and flexibility. This is because a regular income or pay cheque is fixed but a business owner receives residual income which can continue to be created even if the business owner is not working.
